Cattier launches OLED-powered interactive Champagne labels (by Inuru) --> OLED-Info 

French Champagne maker Cattier launched illuminated and interactive labels, powered by OLED lighting panels produced by Inuru. The project was handled by bespoke packaging platform Packhelp. The Cattier label lights up as the champagne is being poured from the bottle into a glass, and the illumination can be also enabled on demand, by a simple touch.

Inuru says that the first batch of bottles with the new labels will ship soon on select markets. Inuru produces flexible and water-proof OLED lighting panels using a printing process.

A co z tym wspólnego ma NCL?

No kolega wyżej napisał, że Noctiluca jest głównym dostawcą emiterów i zaawansowanej chemii OLED dla Inuru GmbH. Inuru jest w trakcie budowy linii produkcyjnej zoptymalizowanej pod kątem wykorzystania matariałów Noctiluca.

Zgodnie z treścią komunikatu z kwietnia --> Link cytuję:

"Niniejszym, Noctiluca staje się dostawcą pierwszego wyboru dla Inuru, i zgodnie z ustalonymi w umowie procedurami będzie realizowała dostawy wraz z napływającymi zamówieniami."

Inuru prezentowało się na CES 2023 ze swoimi produktami, w swoim nowym zakładzie buduje linię produkcyjną zoptymalizowaną pod kątem wykorzystania zaawansowanej chemii OLED Noctiluca, więc istotne zamówienia są tylko kwestią czasu.

The touch of a finger uses OLED technology to illuminate “Deux Barrique” on a special bottle of Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards 2019 Deux Barrique Tempranillo.

“It helps promote the specialty bottling of Tempranillo and allows us to grab the person’s attention and tell the story behind the wine,” says owner/winemaker Stephen Reustle.

OLED is a remarkably efficient technology, made with organic thin films between two conductors. When an electric current is applied, a bright light appears. A light fingertip touch to a specific spot on the label illuminates a particular portion of the innovative label. This extremely thin label (less than 0.5 millimeters total thickness) is completely flexible, foldable, rollable, programmable, cool to the touch, waterproof, shockproof and durable. No app or plug source is needed for the bottle to light up.

Reustle worked with German-based Inuru, which states that its OLED products are manufactured without using rare earth metals. According to Inuru, its OLEDs make the product and the supply chain green because its OLED uses an organic semiconductor rather than silicon.

Na razie nic, ale jak juz faktycznie uruchomią linię produkcyjną pod emitery NCL to kiedyś tam, być może coś tam będą sprzedawali i pod to grajcie marzyciele :)
