Privatization of Ciech and nitrogen plants takes shape

The conglomerate will be put up for sale together with the state's and NP's stake in nitrogen plants in Tarnów and Kędzierzyn. The Treasury could also allow the transaction to encompass Anwil, as Tarnów, Ciech and Kędzierzyn have signed a letter of intent concerning the purchase of this company.

"These four companies would be sold to one investor," confirmed the CEO of Ciech, Ryszard Kunicki. The potential investor will have to guarantee the execution of the investment plan of Ciech as well as the amended strategy.
