Money supply goes up 1.3% in Dec 1-10Poland's money supply rose 1.3% in the first ten days of December to PLN 294.57bn (USD 68.4bn) from PLN 290.83bn (USD 68.10bn) at the end of November, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) reported on Wednesday. Net foreign assets remained at PLN 30.86bn (USD 7.2bn), unchanged from November, but were 15.5% higher on the year. Deposits continued to rise. Zloty deposits increased 1% to PLN 214.5bn (USD 50.11bn), including individual deposits going up 1.1% to PLN 152.9bn (USD 35.8bn), and 23.3% up on the year, and corporate deposits that went up 0.5% to PLN 61.5bn (USD 14.4bn). Value of credits to individuals fell to PLN 47.17bn (USD 11.04bn), and were up 28.9% on the year. Credits to the corporate sector fell 0.1%, but were up 15.6% on the year.
